First Days briefing

Students are spending two Weeks with Kevin O’Shea, the television and film actor now based in Alicante, to gain experience of performing on location. Experiencing Spanish culture and understanding the demands of working under tight deadlines.

Students will be enjoying two weeks as guests at the wonderful AC Marriott, Alicante, which is ideally located for the scheduled film locations in the port and surrounding area of Alicante.

The Kirklees performing Arts students will be getting involved in all aspects of on location film making with the benefit  of Kevin’s extensive experience working in both film and television.

Erasmus+ is the European Union programme for education, training, youth and sport, and is helping Kirklees College Highfield Centre for Performance and Media students to gain valuable vocational experience in their chosen profession.

The students will be making a film at varkious locations around Alicante, experiencing the pressures or working under extreme heat and tight deadlines.
